Wrexham vs Stockport – Wrexham to win at 11/8 with bet365

Wrexham picked up a huge 1-0 win over automatic promotion rivals Wycombe last time out and they can take down another direct challenger by beating visitors Stockport on Saturday.

County secured an eye-catching result of their own last weekend with a 1-0 victory at Bolton, but prior to that derby win they had just three wins in 10 away from home in League One.

Wrexham have won three of their last four games and have four clean sheets in their last five. The Welsh side have the second best home record in the division with 13 wins in 19 League One games at the Racecourse and they can make the most of home advantage against Stockport.

Ayr vs Hamilton – Over 1.5 Ayr goals at 8/11 with bet365

Ayr are aiming for a seventh consecutive win over Hamilton, having won the first three encounters between the sides this season. The hosts have picked up two 2-0 wins on the road, while they were 3-2 winners over Hamilton at home back in August.

The visitors are third-bottom in the Scottish Championship and they’ve lost all five of their visits to the top four so far. They’ve conceded 15 goals across those defeats, while they concede an average of 2.07 goals per away game.

Ayr have struck 32 times in their 14 home matches, winning 10 to put them in third place. A large chunk of those goals have come against the bottom five, as they’ve netted twice or more in six of seven home meetings with the bottom-half.

Port Vale vs Morecambe – Port Vale at 4/7 with bet365

Port Vale are in the thick of a congested League Two promotion race and they can enhance their top-three aspirations with a home victory over Morecambe, who sit second bottom and are six points adrift of safety.

The Valiants have won five of their last six home league matches, which includes an easy 3-0 victory over MK Dons last time out, and they have suffered only seven defeats in 36 outings this term.

Morecambe have lost seven away games on the spin, scoring only two goals in that period, and should be readily outclassed by a promotion-chasing rival.

Lincoln City vs Exeter City – Exeter City double chance at 1/1 with bet365

Exeter City will hope to move to within two points of 12th-placed Lincoln City on Saturday when they visit the LNER Stadium.

Lincoln come into the game on the back of a 5-0 win over Bristol Rovers, while they beat Crawley 4-1 in their previous home match.

While that should be a warning for Exeter, both of those wins came against teams in and around the relegation zone. The Grecians are only four places behind Lincoln and they are unbeaten in five games in the third tier.

Exeter have only lost two of their last six games away from home and they have conceded one goal or fewer in four of those matches. They held Lincoln to a 0-0 draw in their first meeting this season and they should be able to make life difficult for their hosts.

AFC Wimbledon vs Barrow – AFC Wimbledon at 19/20 with bet365

The race for promotion from League Two is beginning to hot up and AFC Wimbledon cannot afford to lose their focus while they occupy the all-important third spot.

Johnnie Jackson’s side have had a couple of home wobbles lately with Plough Lane defeats against Cheltenham and Bromley, but they have still won six of their last eight on their own patch and will probably have too much for Barrow.

The Cumbrians collected three points at another promotion challenger Notts County at the beginning of the month, but that has been the only away success they have mustered in their last 15 on the road and the Dons should have too much for them if they keep their eye on the ball.

Jamie Griffith

Bradford vs Colchester – Colchester or draw double chance at 7/10 with bet365

There are just 12 points separating the top eight in League Two and back-to-back losses to nil will have fans of second-placed Bradford worried their side could fall out of the automatic-promotion spots, or even the playoff places entirely, if things do not improve soon.

The mood in the Bantams’ squad will be low after those defeats to Tranmere and Gillingham – two sides battling against relegation – and the last thing they will have wanted was a visit from the league’s most in-form side, Colchester.

The U’s are up to seventh thanks to a 13-game unbeaten run and five-match win streak and they can earn at least a point at Valley Parade.
